Open call for applications: Oslo Danser – Dance projects for outdoor performances, spring 2026
Dansens Dager 2026 have received extra funding from the City of Oslo and Sparebankstiftelsen DNB to support performances by professional dance artists in public spaces. Would you like to be part of Oslo Danser? Application deadline: 2 December 2025.
On Saturday 25 April, Dansens Dager, in collaboration with other cultural institutions, will establish four outdoor performance sites in central Oslo. More information about the locations will be shared later. There will also be one or more performances at another location on Wednesday 29 April.
Last year, we expanded the Dansens Dager project Dans i bybildet, where everyone is invited to perform their dance in Oslo’s streets during the celebration. In 2025 we were able to offer fees to professional dance artists, who—together with non-professionals across a range of genres—presented a diverse dance programme for the public.
We want Oslo Danser to be a space where dancers can meet and share, no matter their age, style, genre, background, or education. We also want to encourage collaboration and exchange between professional artists and dance enthusiasts.
